What each app is best for

Where each one stands out, and what to check before you buy.

  1. 01

    CAARD

    Our pick

How to choose

Four questions to ask every vendor

  1. 01

Ask what happens after the scan. A scan gives you a name. Someone still has to research the lead, decide if it’s worth a call and write the follow-up. Find out who does that work.

  2. 02

Check your CRM is native and included. Some apps charge extra for CRM sync or keep it to higher tiers. Ask for your exact CRM by name.

  3. 03

Look for a published price. A published price tells you what next year’s show calendar will cost before you sit through a sales call.

  4. 04

Make sure it works at every show. The official app and badge kits are bought again for each event. An app that reads the printed badge works the same everywhere.
